Mine is 24" from the bottom of the frame to the ground with 38.5" tires. I bet yours is about the same height with 33s.

UH kinda like mine WAS. and my springs where (are) only supposed to be 2" That put me at excactly 24" with 33's.

Sprung mine back under (doesn't flex as well) but with a little fender trimming I could probably stuff some 37's

pinions.. comments??
We just finished a YJ w/ 4" Lift springs, RS that use lift shackles in back, stretched wheel base, 5.38s on 78 BRONCO axles ~ its a bit tall, but not too tall. Yet at the same time, its not extremely wide either. it was a good compromise between hieght and width ~ meaning it doesn't look goofy.

I would have used 2" lift springs if it were my rig.

If you have stock axles, then yes, its too big. Otherwise, go to big-bronco axles, they aren't full width, but they aren't stock. Get it?

Ya, here's a picture of my mom's rig ~ tis 2" Skyjacker softrides, SOA, RS, 97.5" wheelbase, X-over steering, scout axles....and in this picture it has 37s ~ I think its just right! ~ (oh, and she just turned 60!  )

This is the way I would have liked to do Ben's YJ ~ but he had 4" springs, so we used them.

I took the extended shackles off and put the stock ones back on.. it seems to be flexing pretty well! I am not as impressed as I was with the stock springs on but I am sure as they break in they will get better. The springs are still a little stiff.

I think I am going to stay with the 2 1/2 lift springs and just keep the shorter shackles, it rides a little better that way too.

Snoopy: I do have D 44's front and rear so the axles aren't stock, the front is from a Wag and the rear is from a Rodeo. They are a little wider than stock. I will have to upgrade my tires when I wear these ones out so that is a future upgrade. I will post up some pics tonight of how it looks right now. I am going to be putting some TJ flares on it asap also so it will make the wheel wells a little bigger. :D

Thanks for all of the advice/opinions I appreciate your input!
