Those powerstack batteries are legit. They deliver way more punch than the equivalent size of previous generation

Thanks for the box recommendation, @J-mobzz, it’s perfect. I put a strap around it in case of turbulence in my truck or trailer. I threw some pliers, a hammer and other random tools that the kit didn’t include in an extra ryobi bag and it holds the stuff nice and secure. It’s tucked away in my cabinet and ready for a road trip.

I’m actually pretty impressed with the whole Bauer modular line-up and if I had a need I’d get more of it.

I just got this set for the work truck at Ace Hardware and it looks like Lowes is running the same deal. (Msrp $199, sale price is $99)

Harbor Freight has a good deal going on some Hercules 20v stuff. Buy one 5 AH battery, and one charger for $99 and choose a free tool. Several tools on the list, but I chose the 20v 1/2” Compact Impact driver. It’s normally $69 by itself.



It’s the same size as my M18 1/4” impact driver, which I use all of the time for as much as I can, but I always break the 1/4” adapters on bigger stuff. I’m hoping it will pair nicely with that M18.
