I am getting tickets after work. This is the first opportunity I have had to see them and am definitely looking forward to it. Sucks that it is a Sunday night but also somewhat appropriate.
My favorite band and I have seen them four times and loved the shows, but I won't be going to this one. The Delta/EnergySoulutions center will render them un listenable to me. Sad. Why can't they play the Usana? That would be so cool. I am considering flying to Denver.
I guess I disagree. The Grateful Dead who probably had the best system ever on tour sounded OK but quite a bit worse than at other venues. The other shows I have seen there were awfull. TOOL really did not sound very good at there last two shows at the Ecenter (The Lareralis show was a different story and sounded great) which has better acoustics by far than the ES arena, I don't think you will be able to make out a word Maynard sings, but I hope I am wrong.
Setlist from last night. Kind of a bummer. Same as last tour except it deleted a couple of songs. You may get more tonight as it's not a festival but it does not look like they will be playing any new stuff like I had hoped. I know they like to throw in Opiate for us Utah sheep.
Just got back from the concert. I thought it was great. Sood was good but not great and I could hear Maynard. I liked how simple they kept the stage and how the band blended in. It made it more about the music then about putting on a show with the band running all over or a big stage show.
