tow rig lost power

My 03 ram 2500 (gas) lost some of its power, started idleing rough and has a check engine light on. This happened while on my way to moab pulling the rodeo on a trailor. I stopped in at a local shop and the code 308 came up (misfire). changed all the plugs and wires, changed air filter, checked fuel delivery system, checked coil packs, all were good. Still same problem. Have ran through about 2 tanks of fuel and added gas treatment and fuel injector cleaner. Any ideas on what is wrong? I need to get it back up and running right so I can hit some more trails.

We had a ford do that and it turned out that a valve had gone bad in the motor.

P308 is a cylinder 8 misfire, check compression first for the worst case cause then go from there

My powerstroke did this exact thing with the exact code. The wire on top of the number 8 injector was loose.

I've hear that's common on the early '03 HEMIs. Did you get the dealer to fix it under a TSB?
