Toyota fuel pressure

Does anyone know what pressure the fuel pump in an 85 4Runner puts out?
I need to determine if it's up to running the 4.3 that just went in.

Thanks,

for some reason, 37psi comes to mind. I believe the 4.3 is lower than that, so you should be alright.

Depends on what type of injection the 4.3 has on it. My TBI only needs 10-14psi, if I remember right. Later CPI's need a bit more, and the newer ones take even more than that. (something like 40-ish comes to mind)

The factory GM TBI unit FPR is set for a nominal 13 psi. Which is what the PPH rating on the injectors is based on.ILean is correct the factory spec for fuel pressure to the TBI is 10-14 psi. If you want to over driver the injectors you have to replace or modify the factory FPR in the injector pod.
