Every summer I take a trip to your beautiful state. Most of the time I'm solo, which adds some unique challenges and requires a lot of caution.
I used to have to write up a very detailed itinerary of exactly where I was going and when, and leave that with someone I could trust (who could also read a map). Now I use a SPOT, I call it 'Freedom in a Box'. I still use a lifeline back home as a second line of defense, but rely on SPOT first. I've got details if you have any questions, but let's get to some fun stuff (and I gotta get back to work soon anyway).
Here's the tracks from my last trip, five incredible weeks last summer. You'll need Google Earth installed to view it on your PC. I'm no rock star like many of you here, but I get around. Hope you enjoy this, and have some comments. I've got tracks from three other trips...
