Trail from Klondike Bluffs to Salt Valley Rd?

In Moab, I have seen a reference to a trail running from near the end of Klondike Bluffs trail over to the Salt Valley Rd just above the trail running back south to Eye of the Whale arch. (4WD Road?)

Does it exist and is it doable for a moderate driver in a rubicon?

We will be visiting in a week or so, I'm trying to plan some day loops out of Moab.

Any other advice would be welcome :) Planning on lots of ice and water.

We ran Klondike Bluff Trail in May and we did the cut-off back to Salt Valley Road. We had four mildly modified Jeeps and we didn't have any problems at all. The cut-off is a little narrow in spots, but you shouldn't have any problems in a Rubi. The 4WD road between Tower Arch and Eye Of The Whale Arch was closed at that time due to a wash out or something like that. Plan on LOTS of dust if you take the the Salt Valley Road through Arches.

Mud I do all the time. Deep, gumbo-ie mud (Texas gulf coast, rice fields, etc) Makes me feel at home :)

It's the mountains and rocks that I don't do often. Some in the Big Bend area in S Texas. We actually DO have a mountain here in Calhoun County, though. It's about 2 miles inland from our place. Elevation 38 feet. (Our house is at 32 feet on the bay)

I get kinda out of breath when I go up above 35 feet.

I'm bringing supplemental oxygen to Utah. Hope they let me on the plane with it.

Wish I could send you some. We're making the national news for rain. Raining like crazy right now. Thunder. Lightening. The bed was full of dogs when I woke up. Bren said it felt like being in one of those hotel beds you put a quarter in, they were shaking so hard. I slept through it.
