transfer case drop

I have a 91 xj I put a 3 inch lift in the rear and 2 inches in the front. I was looking at a transfer case drop is it needed for 3 inches? Any help would be appreciated.

Are your u joints binding or vibrating? If yes then yes, if no then no.

Is it fairly easy to do?

i put some on mine since I was getting vibrations and it took care of it.
it's not too hard but getting the studs out is a little work and make sure case is supported well before you get under it.

Do you mess with the linkage at all? Is it just spacers if so is it something that could be made in a metal shop?
