Trany swap

My c6 in my Bronco is getting pretty tired Does anyone know how hard it is to swap in a manual t-18 or 435 and what parts are needed? Or would I be better off keeping the c6 price wise? Thanks!

Swap kit is 300.00 from JBG for either 435 or T-18. I did a AOD swap about a month ago and am loving it. Set me back 800.00 for rebuilt tranny and 450.00 for Advanced Adapter so wasn't too bad. Goodluck with whatever you do

Thanks! What was your reasonong fo going to the AOD?

My bronco was stock 3-speed. So I wanted automatic with overdrive and AOD's are pretty sturdy stock plus you can beef em up if you desire. Plus they are a dime a dosen so parts are reasonable. So far so good I like it. I havent tried wheeling yet but have heard good reviews from others on there AOD's. Hoping to try it out soon after my axle swap.
