I only get two weekends a month, so I doubt I'll get 12 trips in, but consider me as in as schedule allows!

I get invited to go on a lot of trips by various peeps who don't want to post the trip publicily for one reason or the other so it only seems like I do nothing. I am usually out somewhere a couple times per month.

I've been getting out at least once a month for as long as I can remember. Usually two or three times a month. I think if I went four weeks without getting out, I'd go crazy and start working on my "list" (of people to kill...).

For this year:

Jan (already completed)
Day trip to S. Book Cliffs and Yellow Cat
Overnighter to Nevada
ExpUT PET run
Overnighter to Robbers Roost area

Penciled in for the rest of the year...

Feb
Comb Ridge/Cedar Mesa
Swell

Mar
Nothing planned yet. Thinking maybe Maze or White Rim, maybe Beef Basin/Elk Ridge if conditions permit?

Apr
Bruneau River/Diamond A desert
City of Rocks/SE Idaho
Swell

May
North Rim GC
Swell

June
Boulder Mtn/Escalante
Uintas

July
Henry Mtns
Paunsagaunt
Uintas

Aug
La Sals
Tushars/Monroe Mountain
Uintas

Sep
Book Cliffs
Jarbidge

Oct
Nothing planned yet.

Nov
Owyhee desert

Dec
Nothing planned yet.

I've enjoyed keeping a trip journal for my various excursions over the years, I've kept a fairly detail log for the last 5 years, where, who, what, when and miles type of deal. I'll try and remember to post it here.

Kurt, do you write it by hand, or do you do it digitally? What program do you use?

DAA, awesome list. If you don't mind, I'd love to tag along with you on some of those (especially the swell).

About 95% of my trips are single vehicle and about half pure solo. I'm making a conscious effort to change that though. The few group runs I've been on, I have really enjoyed meeting the people. From what little I've experienced, universally good folks whose company I have enjoyed and several new friends made. So, heck yeah, I'd be down for a Swell trip or two this year - it's one of my favorite areas.

I'm wanting to do Hole in the Rock soon. I'd love to do it late March, but I doubt my vehicle will be ready by then (but I'm trying). It'll definitely be ready by April though. I'd also like to tag along to blue notch with Stephen sometime, that sounds like a fun trial.

I'm thinking of doing the Blue Notch trip in conjunction with the RME BBQ. As much as I love trail riding, day trips have lost much of there appeal to me. So I'm thinking hit the BBQ Friday night and take off for Blue Notch first thing Saturday morning. We'd probably just camp at Blue Notch Saturday and Sunday, head out Monday. I love camping on the shores of Lake Powell, just relaxing, swimming, reading and enjoying the beauty.
Once the BBQ info gets posted I'll flesh out the plans and post up a general invite.

Steve, I have done Hole in the Rock in the spring (May) and in the fall (Oct). The spring trip was very windy but the fall trip was beautiful. This is my 2-cents worth, others may have their opinions.

I appreciate the feedback. Fall would definitely work better with my build plans... Is there a danger of flash floods on HITR?
