I saw the original way back in jr. high and thought it was awesome. Re watched the digitally remastered version a few months back to prep my wife for the new one. Way weirder that I remember it being. But the new one just looks visually stunning and should be fun. Plus, I'm a big fan of Bruce Boxleitner so I'll go see pretty much anything he is in.

I went and saw it this morning (10:45 showing). Great show. I watched the original WAY back in the day (elementary school) so I don't really remember it. I'm actually downloading the original right now to watch. I can't compare it to the original, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. It's one I'll own on Blu-Ray (that says a lot to how I liked it ).

I own it on DVD and I won't lie, it's one of those prized possessions. Even my wife considers it one of her favorite shows and she hated sci-fi when we met.
