I have a 2000 TTR 225 for sale. I bought it to ride with my son and he has decided he wants a 4 wheeler so we are selling both dirt bikes. I love this bike. I have heard many times that this is a great "wife" bike. I had a blast on it and it was great for a noob rider like myself. Decent power and low to the ground. It was running great a week ago except the battery is a little weak. Yesterday when I fired it up it would idle, but there is a dead spot right off idle. It revs high good and idles good, but that dead spot is annoying. I don't want to fix it so I will sell it cheaper than I normally would. It could use some new plastics as the current ones are faded.
