Tube Prices!

Anyone going to Cali Soon? For sh!ts and giggles I asked One of my Steel Suppliers in Cali to quote me on some tube and they're almost a dollar a foot cheaper than here What surprised me and pissed me off is they told me Nucor is their supplier So why is it higher here?

i would imagine its good ol' supply and demand.... how many places in SLC are actually have it or know what your talking about?? i call around and ask and i get a blank pause on the phone......

we used to bring all our material in from Denver because even after paying shipping charges (freight) it was still cheaper than buying local.

nope alf i go down near ontario/fontana area the yhavea steel mill down near the california speedway- bakersfield is to far out of the way-what you could do is ask one of the hay wagons going south-they usually go to bakersfield- they or there company could bring for you probably sorry can't help from there
