Specifically on an all tube chassis, is exceptable to use .095 wall tube on interior tubes? What about seat mounts? My exterior will be all DOM 1.75 .120 wall. What would you use for cross bracing, seat mounts, and floor board/firewall mounting tubes?

Obviously my main structure is 1.75 .120 but for seat mounts, firewall, dash and pretty much anything else interior I used 1.25 .120 (I think it was .120 wall)...

we use 1 1/2 DOM .120 wall for Jakes comp car... I would have no problems using .90 wall in interior apps..... Just build the x's in the right spots......

I'm telling you, don't do it! look at Tracey's and Booger's rig. They almost splinter and kill them ever time they roll. :ugh:

(Sorry for the hijack Hicky :D )

I think I would go with the 1 3/4 .120 wall personally.

It's not about saving money. It's about not building a tank.
