We had a group of 10 built rigs and there were at least twice that many cameras going at all times, so let's see the pics!!

Wow, what a neat trail! HUGE rocks, very technical, everything muddy/slippery which made it even more fun. That was the firsts time I have been wheeling in a long time where I thought "there is no way I can make it up that" and I did! Particularly when we got to that spot where we had to toss rocks for 30 minutes just to give it a semblance of passability. Yes it was that bad. Looks like it had washed out recently.

Casualties:

THREE tires destroyed (by the same person!! Anyone want to guess what brand?? :)
One broken main leaf spring
One broken birfield
A lot of sheet metal carnage
A front driveline
More sheet metal carnage
Almost a headlight
ARB not working

Was that it?

We had a lot of tire up action, are share of carnage, and a lot of fun. One lesson I learned this year and last after watching and helping a long bed truck both years, just get totaled is we need to add a new restriction requiring good break over angles. This trail has got to be my favorite.

Awesome trail ride! Man I had one of the best offroad adventure yet. After about $15+ in quaters this morning washing the rig to view the damage hiding under all the mud I managed to have only suffered minor damage. Dented front diff cover and a small dent on the right rear 1/4 panel and a few scapes on the new freshly painted rocker guards. I think my buddy Scott in the long bed suffered the most sheet metal damage of all. Ya think! Unfourtatly my camera didn't take one pic the whole ride shame on my co-piolet. Great job King crawlers and Scott for the the epic event. Cant wait to check out more trails in Price soon. I didn't get the names of everyone in the group but maybe you could identify your self so I can put names with the faces and the rigs you drove. I was in the blue 97 tj . I think those tires were Super Swampers?

Thanks again
Chris

Here are a few of my pics. Also, I'd like Scott to tell us the names of all the obstacles...the only one I remember is the Marriage obstacle.

What A Great Day!!!!!!!!!!

I had a great time, Thanks to all those who helped me off the trail. What a day for tire carnage I think it was 4 times with the tires off and on. 2 sidewalls,1 valve stem, 1 bead. I have some pics I will post later. Tires were Super Swamper TSL Radial.

The very first obstacles is the Gate (has a bypass) the next is the Can Opener ( has a bypass) 3rd is Marriage because from here on out there are no bypasses so... you are committed 4th has no name yet, this is the one that has three very different lines, last year almost every one went to the far left, this year most every one went to the far right, and almost no one ever tries the center. The 5th has no name, the 6th is were you make the tight turn around the big rock on your left, the big Ford lost a head light on that rock, its called the Squeeeeze. The rest are to small for real names.

Dayum awsome pics. Sorry dudes I really really wanted to make it but last minute our plans were changed and we ended up in Moab. Pretty frustrating to drive right by the Holiday Inn on Fri night! Anywhoo, looks like a blast! I did end up on 3 wheels in a couple spots on Poison Spider Mesa but not nearly as muh fun as that looks! Can't wait to hear about the damage. What time did you guys get off the trail? Andre

I think I hit the end of the trail right about 5:30pm, and by the time I got back to town it was pretty much dark.

Hey Scott, I assume your leaf spring held togather pretty good the rest of the day. Did it loosen up much by the end of the day?

The last of our group made it back to the Challenge Park around 8pm :ugh: , but most of the others were about 2 hours before that. This was a really fun group to run with, egos never got in the way, just good hard wheelin  .
