Today was great. My first time running the Snakes.

This was a great event that shows four wheelers can have fun and do service at the same time. It also shows that four wheelers are not the bad guys and our way of life is here to stay. A special thanks to David and Tyler, the hot dogs and hot chocolate were very welcome at the end of the day which was windy and cold. The hot chocolate was Especially appreciated by me.

Kyle and I had a great time. No, my full size Bronco only made it up about 1/2 way (1/3? OK then, a 1/4?...) up Rattlesnake before I chickened out, but it was still a lot of fun. First time "on the rocks" (or close to the rocks...) for my pre-runner. So my son and I spent the rest of the morning down on the flats filling up two trash-bags at the various 'camp fire' sites...and going plenty fast on the smoother trails.

Next time, I'll take up the offers again to ground-guide me through (and use 4Low next time.)

Nice to meet Big Sarge, Dave, and Jack.
