Well there was quite a turnout for the U4WDA Event in Price! The weather started out cold & foggy, but cleared up about the time we hit the trails. There were a few trail choices depending on how equipped your rig was, and it seemed like the spread was well balanced. Props to the Castle Country King Crawlers 4x4 Club for putting on a great event! :hickey:

I ended up running Judgment Day with: Delbert (leading), followed by Carl, then Cody, Herzog, Fergusor and a guy (I didn't get his name) in a red Chevy powered Toyota pickup.

Anywho, I'm sure you want to see the pics. :D

I'm working on pics from the 4x4 Park. ;)

Darwins carnage-

Tere's more pics of the breakage in the 4x4 Park album.

There's no pics of my carnage....:(

The log cross, done it several times no problems. Today I busted a CV flange on the rear driveline. No big deal, been there done that and becuase of it I brought a brand new driveline with me. Yes, my shaft is a Woody... So I start backing up to back out of it and bust the outer stub shaft and u joint. So Chad pulled me backwards to a point where I could change the rear driveline on the logs and then he pulled me the rest of the way out. Stub shaft is a dealer only item, so no go. I was down for the rest of the day. While pulling the axle so I could drive home, I saw my ball joints move. Good thing I can't find a stub shaft, because I have bad ball joints. No biggie...I'll do them too... While I had it apart, I spun the hub bearing and checked it, felt good put it all together.

On the way home, I lost the front tire doing about 10mph....

Dang hub bearing came apart!!!

Looks like it ruined my hub (obviously), knuckle and probably the caliper and possibly the C.

To get it on the trailer, I ended up jacking up on the rocker guard, then backing the trailer under it, settting it down on a floor jack, and winching up. Kevin had to get on the side and winch me sideways to get the rear lined up...

And we finally got it on the trailer....5 hours later!

Big thanks to Kevin for loaning me his rig to trailer mine home!! :D

Yes sir... :D And to make it even better I can't locate a new hub locally (Sunday and the people that are open don't have it in stock). So he is driving up from Price to help me get it off of his trailer so he can go home. Originally I was going to put a new hub on it this morning, load my car on his trailer and return his rig this morning. So much for that.... :-\

Hmmmm Hub conversion is starting to look REAL interesting now....:D
