Well there was quite a turnout for the U4WDA Event in Price! The weather started out cold & foggy, but cleared up about the time we hit the trails. There were a few trail choices depending on how equipped your rig was, and it seemed like the spread was well balanced. Props to the Castle Country King Crawlers 4x4 Club for putting on a great event! :hickey:

I ended up running Judgment Day with: Delbert (leading), followed by Carl, then Cody, Herzog, Fergusor and a guy (I didn't get his name) in a red Chevy powered Toyota pickup.

Anywho, I'm sure you want to see the pics. :D

Great pics Greg. Even though I busted my rig I still had a great time (can't believe I still made it out of trail with the adapter broke in half ) sounds like everybody else had a great time also. Looking foward to doing another trail with you guys sometime. Until then keep the rubber side down.

wayne sorry tohear of the problems. you always need to put the stub shaft back in after pulling the rest out, it;s the only thing holding the front end together. If you are running stock axles the best thing to do is tack weld the caps on. I have gone through several axles before I started welding them.

Yeah, thanks! Just read about your rear axle - that sucks! Dealer is warranteing that out for you? SWEET!
I don't think the joint failed, I'm 99% sure it was the stub shaft that took out the joint. Lock tite on the caps when you install the u joint works better than welding them in - a lot easier trail repairs! :D Either way, the entire axle from the diff to the wheel (inner, outer and u joint) is only $140 (my cost) for a stock replacement.
I gave the stub shaft to a kid with a carnage collection.... At the time, I didn't think about it...The kid was showing me his toy rock crawler...Seemed like a cool thing to do at the time! But I can't count how many times I've seen XJ, YJ, and TJ's bust that all up and limp off the trail with no axle in there....Never again!
