The Utah 4 Wheel Drive Association is having a contest to replace our
current logo. We have several different versions of our logo floating
around, and the logo we have is almost impossible to read when printed small
or in black and white. So, we're seeking submissions from local graphic
artists to create a new logo that will be the foundation of our upcoming
marketing campaign. All submissions must be received by June 20th. The
U4WDA board will select the winning logo at the June board meeting.
The artist who submits the winning logo will receive:
A 1 year individual membership in the Utah 4 Wheel Drive Association (or 1 year renewal for current members)
25 tickets for our 2006 raffle where we'll be giving away a trail-ready '79
CJ7 (a $50 value).
A 1 year gift subscription to Four Wheeler magazine.
Recognition as a great artist, and a round of applause from the 4 wheel
drive community.
Please submit a rasterized version of the logo (preferably 640x480 at 72dpi)
to newlogo@u4wda.org. Remember that we need your submission by June 20th to
qualify!
Your design should meet the following requirements:
1. Positive, professional image for 4-wheelers.
2. Versatile application and use. ie: web, advertising, promotional goods, signage, etc.
3. Simple, contemporary yet classic look and feel. It won't be out of date in 2 years.
4. The logo should appeal to a wide range of 4 wheelers from newbies on up.
5. The final logo must be in a vector format (such as .eps or .ai).
6. The design must incorporate the website URL: www.U4WDA.org

7. The organization name, "UTAH 4 Wheel Drive Association" must be
included and visible in the design.
8. The design must be free of copyrighted material (royalty free
artwork is acceptable).
