They're not all that rare, honestly.... GM has been building locomotives since the 1930's.

Showed me all the houses in the mud from the Thissle slide.
His story from 1983.
"He was the last vehicle to get through there. Police had it barricaded off but allowed him to get through. The road was all buckled up and an hour later it slid".

i went through 2 days before the slide, Rio Grande was working like crazy pushing the dirt to the north and repairing the line, it was ugly, then after the slide i worked on the newly formed lake with boats towing all the houses and debre up to the east end of the lake so it would not interfier as they built up the new dam and overflow diverter
