Been a while, so here we go. My wife is recovering from 2 strokes (march 13 & Junes 16) she has not had her kidney transplant yet due to her health. My younger brother is a match and will cough one up when the time comes. She has only been home for a few hours since june. Last weekend she went to the ER for breathing problems. Turns out she had alot of fluid around her heart. Enough to partially collapse one lung and some arteries on her heart. Docs popped a drain tube in and all is good now on that problem.
Her mom and I are hoping that this will cause a turn around in her strength and responsive levels. Angie is very stable now and doing better, but has yet to yell at me. Man I miss that.........

FYI I might have to call upon my fellow RME'rs to help me with a project or two.

Good to hear that your brother is a match. Hopefully she'll get her strength up soon and get that transplant done. It's almost time for a new year, so everything goes better then :)

What?! That's news to me. Hmm dog kennel needs cleaned.:D

Thanks guys for your words of encouragement. I'm right here besides Angie at the hospital on my laptop typing this. Her O2 sat is 100% with a heart rate of about 108. They pulled 3 liters off of her today in dialysis, she hasn't had that much pulled in almost a year. It sucks that she'll miss our daughters 4 year birthday party this weekend. Gonna take Harlie and Logan to the Dinosaur Museum in Lehi saturday. These 2 kids have done so well with things and have helped me with this. Without them, man I'd be a basketcase. OK more than normal.

I will yell at you if that will help.

Give Ang a hug for me.:)

Problem is that you would enjoy it waaay too much. -_- Besides what''s the point of getting yelled at if you can't kiss and make up?

Looks like Bone Down's kids are coming over wednesday to install my Christmas lights. Maybe I should feed my dogs chili so there's lots for them to clean up.:greg:

My kids hate cleaning up after our dog, I am sure they would delegate that to one of the newbs in the ward.

Act surprised, I am not sure if it was suppose to be a secret or not.

No worries, they called me today about it. Maybe I'll just play HALO2 with your boys while everyone else works.

Angies infection is in a clot that is in her dialsys central line.

Good luck to you and your wife. Two years ago my little boy was in the hospital for two weeks, and I tell you I was a wreck. It is hard to see a family member going through a hard time like that. I have watched your threads and not commented on because sometimes words are hard. But I do wish you and your wife well with everything. You seem to take the perfect attitude. Tell her to get out soon so she can help you wrench on your Jeep.
