Update on the Josh Monell deal

I would want him to go to jail, but I would be too lazy to go through with it.

I had a business partner scam me out of a bunch of money several years ago. I let it go. He has since scammed several people. I wish I would have done something about it at the time. He still hasn't been caught.

Ok, let me preface with saying I am not in your shoes and therefore I don't pretend to know all the details and please don't take this as judging.

But outside looking in and trying to leave emotion out of this, these are the points I thought needed to be in black and white.

#1-You have a known felon with a violent history

#2-You have actual proof of the same known violent felon dealing in guns,

#3-On top of dealing in guns, he is fraudently doing so. (you mentioned misrepresentation)

At what point does letting him walk pass the gut check? Where does civic responsibility come into play? How is this guy different from a sex offender who hurts kids? We would all line up to help get him off the streets, right?

We are all currently fighting crazy politicians to keep our gun rights because guys like this are going around the laws. The politicians are basically saying the gun laws that are in place aren't working, so we need more.

As responsible gun owners I hope we all would do our part in protecting the 2nd admendment by keeping firearms out of the hands of felons, especially violent ones...

Wait, I just clicked on the mugshots link.

This guy (if it is the same guy) has TWO 2nd Degree Felonies, TWO Class A misdemeanors, and FOUR Class B misdemeanors.

Just so everyone knows this guy isn't a boy scout who opened his eyes during a prayer or only saluted with 2 fingers instead of 3... Burglary, Assault, Stalking, Car Theft...

No brainer to me...press charges. So far you are lucky man to not have a long lasting affect on your life, but I guarentee that this person has not once felt remorse or cared about he sittuation.

I have been been screwed over and over and way too many times by people just like this and probably even folks with way less of a criminal record. I read the orig post and all the additional info, conclusion is that I feel like if I were in your "SHOES" (haha) I would not be giving this dude a second chance!!! I know if I were growing up with him and saw the person get convicted in court I would wisen up. Just think, you could be helping others live a better life and set a peer on the correct path. You are not helping yourself or the public in any way by NOT pressing charges.

I really like his newest ad saying its american made. I didnt think you could find a light bar like that american made for so cheap hahaha. I have been selling MANY various lights trying to come up with a good rocklight kit but I DO NOT claim that they are american made in any way to try and get those that ONLY buy american stuff to buy them.
