Hog hollow is fun times! Where are you planning on starting, Steve? at the cul de sac that 's actually a 90 degreee bend in the road w/ the small dirt hill to climb up right past the sidewalk?? There are a couple pretty fun little (dirt hill) climbs right out of the gate (optional) if that's where you're starting.

I just realized, this probably looks like we're going to be making fun of noobs and we want to "haze" you. I promise, there will be none of that (unless SAMI comes, then you never know what's going to happen:D). I call you "noobs" with all the affection I can muster :) We just want the club to grow, to introduce some people to recovery techniques, proper wheeling techniques, show them a cool mellow place to learn, teach you how to keep our trails open, and have a fun time wheeling. If you're new to wheeling or this site, or interested in coming, post here and let us know where you stand. It'll be a fun night.

I'm actually thinking of ending on this side and starting on the other side. Hopefully we can complete the entire loop. I'll see how the conditions are though, then decide as it gets closer.

I'm more than happy to schedule another one for those who are serving our country. I'll be planning one out at rattlesnake trail in a few months. Let me know when you get backnowledgments and ill definitely schedule another noob run.

that would be awesome john. I'll warn ya, it's a mild mild trail (like the dirt road back from rattlesnake to the parking lot). But it'll be a fun time for sure.

Glad to see you'll make it Hiro.

I'm right there with you on getting back from this deployment in April. If you are up at Hill when the time comes to drive down there let me know, you can follow me down.

And don't worry, there will be plenty of chances to get out to Five-Mile, Mini-Moab and American Fork to wheel with these guys. Everytime I go out with them it's a great time.

I'm looking forward to it.+

Let's all bring garbage bags and clean the trail up a bit. It's a fun little trail, and I want to make sure it stays open.

I know i'm late to the party here steve but, why not do snakes as the Noob annual trail? It was the first trail my dad did in his 31 inch tire stock FJ62 and he had no problem. I think fire roads are great for week long back country trips but why not do more of a trail trail? I might be able to go either way but something to think about
