Upper control arm flex joints

I am making some long arms and wanted opinions on the size of upper control arm flex joints. Rubicon sells a large joint and a small joint and from what I've seen they usually use the large type for the lower arms and the small type for the upper. Should I use that approach or use the large type for both ? Any preferences on joint manufacturer ?

Summit's joints are built better and the outer casing is just a little thicker which is nice. I've used both Summit Machine & RE joints... Summit's are much nicer in comparison and they now have 4 sizes.

Their medium joint would make a good strong joint for the uppers, but you could go with the small ones with are essentially the same size as a stock upper jeep bushing, if I'm not mistaken. On my buggy I used large joints on my uppers and lowers but that was mostly because I had an abundance of 2" x 0.25" DOM and I didn't feel like buying smaller tube for uppers. :)

I would like to see them and pick up some other parts I need also. Where are you located ? I'm going to need some of your custom tube inserts for my upper control arms as I have some DOM that my brother gave me that isn't a size that is on your list.

The size I need will depend on which joint I decide on. Currently the plan is to use 1" fine thread. The tube I have for the uppers is 1.625" x .25" wall DOM. I think I have enough 1.75x.25 DOM as well if I needed to use that instead. Both sizes are a bit overkill for upper arms from what I have seen in most long arm kits but it's what I have. These are for the front arms on a Comanche.

We can make something up. It may take a week or so to fit in though.
