I have been dealing with a PBB vendor for a long time. Recently I ordered $2K worth of parts from them. Around the same time my father, who has the same name, ordered some axles for his FJ40.
Because of the name thing the vendor shipped my parts to me and also shipped the fj40 axles to both my dad and me (2 sets). I called them and told them about the mistake they had charged me for the axles ~$500. They said they would send out a return shipping label and would credit me when they received the axles. Week later nada. I email them ask to resend, nada. I call ask for their account# so I can ship them back.
In the mean time my bill came due. I didn't have $500 extra kicking around so I disputed the charges. I shipped the axles the day after I got the account #. Now this guy is fighting the dispute, first he told them he did not have the merchandise back so they charged my card again. Now he is saying he has the axles but they he does not have my money that the Credit card company does ( the CC company insists this is not the case). To be totally honest, he acts like this whole thing is my fault. He has not apologized or done anything to help resolve this issue.
Neither the CC company nor this vendor have been helpful in resolving this. This has been going on since 1/18/06.
To make matters worse I was an idiot and ordered from him again 3 weeks ago ($100), nothing has shipped I have emailed them several times, no response.
Mostly venting but also looking for any advice???
