There is a 4x4 Ride out in Vernal this Saturday. We are meeting at Doc’s Beach at approximately 3500 North and 2500 West in Vernal at 9AM. This is a coordinated event with the Uintah –Riders-All-Terrain group (URAT), Split Mountain 4x4 club, the BLM for that area (Jason West from the BLM will be there) and members of the Chamber of Commerce from Vernal. This is a ride to the beautiful area of Red Mountain. We are combining with the ATV club out here to give our officials an idea of appropriate recreational land use in this area, help them understand our objectives for keeping public lands public and encourage all who want to come out for a fun ride to join us for a good time. This is not a service project but a time to enjoy our sport and educate our land users, representatives and the BLM.
