My second son lives out there. I'm hoping to get out there soon and do some wheeling. Todd Adams was kind enough to help me find some trail head coordinates.

There are also sand dunes to the south ... and just coming into town looks like tons of BLM land with washes that would be a BLAST.

Wow, yea, I had been up red mountian on my dirt bike and never really thought about going in my jeep, I guess its posible, now I know. The area around vernal has a lot of 2-3 hours drives that are fun. A person could hit 2 or 3 in a day and have a blast. Than of course there are much longer ones that would be better to camp. let me know if you get in the area.

Herzog, My apologies, Id love to join others in the state, I was hoping to find others closer to vernal and more on the fly 4 wheeling. But no biggie, I should look into going with other groups as well. My work is strange but I will be able to go from about May 24 to 31 and than I have reservations at Pineview Anderson cove outside of ogden, June 1 to june 5 with a camping spot and my jet boat. Anyone is welcome to join that as well. Pineview is a blast, let me know, anyway after that Im good till about june 10 and will have to get back to work, let me know whats going on and make a meeting to do it, I cant wait, thanks. Troy.

I want to be there. U4 needs to make contact with a club in that area. It is the only area of the state where we don't have any representation.

Im in Neola. I dont know a single area to wheel and Im freeking out.

Im going to go look at the area between Lapoint and Vernal. I was told by some oil workers that there is some "crazy white guy boulder driving hippy Jeep owning areas" Heck that was sober talk.

There's the competition site on 45 just south of vernal and a few other places. I work there about half the year and have found some pretty cool stuff on the quad. Go download google earth and start lookin around!
