ive got a set of ford steelies with good year wrangler lt 265/75/r16 load range E for $200
came off my 2000 f350. 2 tires have 60%, and 2 have 40%

I've got the ones off my '02 eXcursion, 2 are a little scratched up from when I buried it in the mud (spinning the tires and turning the steering wheel ensures that the wheels will get scraped evenly).

Im not worried how they look.


They are going to look silly on my lifted truck anyhow.


I normally run 38s but I need to regear my axles drastically. This is just a temporary solution til i can regear. So cheap is a must.

I talked to my dad he is in St. George til tomorrow night but he said he has a couple sets. He doesn't know what kind of shape they are in but He does have a set of steels off of a 2001 he would let go for tops $100. He doesn't remember what kind of shape they are in but I can have my brother check tomorrow if they are rough he would let them go a little cheaper. Let me know if your interested. Have you been up to the farm where big horn/PBRC have their obstical course?

Basically I am looking for something super cheap to get me by.


Im running 38s and had a blowout a couple weeks back.

My truck isnt happy pulling my big pig with such a big tire and 3.73 gears.

So I thought I could get a stock size tire just to use for towing until I scrape cash together to regear the axles.


Short answer...Yes Im looking for some 8x170 wheels. No real size preference.



Thardy.....I used to be a member of the wasatch outlaws and I still talk to a bunch of them. Ive heard about your Dads place and think its awesome!!! Hopefully I can get out there to play one of these times.

I found a good set of used tires that I could afford so I just went that route.
