Warn ATV winch recall

Warn has a recall on the contactor for 2500~3500 ci winches... potential fire hazard.

The recall is on the 8 post contactor

My thoughts exactly. I KNOW that mine is one of the afflicted..... oh well if it burns up my ins will buy me one with that fresh paint cooking on the motor/exhaust smell

Well I got mine in january of this year but you never know how accurate those sale date exemptions are.

You're right, there's not telling how long it sat on someone's shelf, but I've seen both in person, they are easy to tell apart with a quick glance.

I actually tried to talk Warn out of one of the new ones a couple months ago because the new style works better with the Polaris prewireing.
