Warn hub warranty question...

I have a set of premium Warn locking hubs on my Dana 44... the body of one hub has been whacked hard enough that turning the dial to lock the hub in 4x4 is very difficult. It works, if you can lock it, but it's not broken. Anyone know if it can be warrantied, or does it have to be broken?

Call Six States they are usually very good at waranties on them. They warranty them in pairs and one time when I was down there they let me take a couple of the scrapped good ones for trail spares (dumpster diving for off road spares).

I've already traded my broke set in, but I was going to say that I'd just swap hub bodies before I turned them in for warranty. Maybe if I destroy any in Moab.

I broke a chunk out of mine on the toyota, but checker (where I bought em) said that they only had a 1 year warantee on them and wouldn't do anything.

Premiums are always life time warranty. The standard set has a one year.

thats why its always worth it to go Premium its a bit pricey the first set but if you ever bust one the are free for every
