Warn XD9000i winch controller help

I have a XD9000i winch & I think the controller is bad....does anyone around the Ogden area have one I can plug into my winch to see if that's the problem?---I have a 9.5ti also & plugged the controller from it into the XD9000i & the red light on it just blinked.....I think the two aren't compatible?

I want to ship this to my dad in Alabama, but wanna make sure it works first.....can anyone help?
or does anyone know a trick so I can make it work with maybe a jumper wire or something?

I called six states, all they do is ship the winch to a 3rd party....I didn't call warn, figured they would only try to sell me a new one. I do need a controller, but wanna make sure the winch works first

The controllers for 9.5 ti and 9000i are different. That being said I think the one for your 9.5ti should work. The one for your 9000i will not work on the 9.5ti. I will check tonight I have a 9.5cti on the jeep and m8000 on my flatbed.

I have that winch on my Blazer, if you want to drive to Sandy. You could try my controller on your winch and your controller on mine.

I have a D style warn controller in Clearfield not sure if it will work on the XD9000i.

Either the motor, or the selenoids are burned up :-(
