I am new to this forum and semi new to salt lake and jeepin. I live in Salt Lake and wondered where you all wheel around here? I have been up American Fork canyon but only once. I've been to Moab a couple of times but that is too far for most afternoon/saturday trips.

Where can I go to keep my skills up and have a good time?

Search with the words rattlesnake and constrictor but constrictures a harder trail and you have to have a well built rig to do it but rattlesnake it pretty easy from what i hear. These trails are out west of Lehi.

Little Moab is on the west side of Utah lake, so it would be south-west from Lehi.

AF canyon has good trails. Little moab and rattle snake and constrictor are all on the other side of the lake. Courner canyon is fun after it rains (way muddy) also not to bad when dry if you like hill climbs. There are a few in Orem on the PG hill. thats all I can think of at the moment.

The only thing that is legal in Corner is the main road. Anything off of that is Illegal. So basically no Corner is not legal wheelin.

The PG foothills pretty fun, but we got busted by the cops for tresspassing last year, which is bulls**T because there wasnt even any signs posted. I've been to micro moab once, its pretty fun out there, plenty of chalenge for all skill levels.

rattlesnake and constrictor are in the 5-mile pass recreation area. go out there and explore..there are about 500 miles of trails out there so enjoy.

farmington canyon is a bit light on challenge.

That sucks. I've talked to the cops once coming out of the hills in Lindon, and they didn't seem to care. But maybe that was because one of them just rammed my friend's parked car... :D

The West Desert is a wealth of trails... from car capable dirt roads to 4+ Constrictor...

For best results... call the BLM office or show up to the BLM cleanup days and pickup a map of the area. It outlines the entire area (probably close to 400 sq. miles)

Good Luck :D

The West Desert is fun. I ran up east of Stocton with Parks Pop last weekend, and today I ran up South Willow. This was alot rockier than I remembered above the Stansbury Front Trail head. Both are trail runs that are not too hard, but high and cool. I like to look at old mining towns and what is left of them. I will insert pics from east of Stocton, but the batts in the camera were dead today. I found a new place to take the gold pan to next time.
Limegrnxj let me know when you would like to come out and play. I'm in.
