yeah, now you get to............

mow the lawn

weed flower beds

fix the f'n sprinklers

fix stupid **** around the inside of the house

repaint rooms for no good reason

and then shovel/remove snow in the winter

oh glory days.

I not a real fan of owning a home...................I would rather have a 5000 sqaure foot warehouse to live in

Hahaha Believe it or not I'm actually looking forward to all that. I hate renting and having loud upstairs neighbors, no place to work on my vehicles, or even BBQ. I wouldn't mind a 5000 sq. foot warehouse though. The wife might not care for it though :D

Welcome to the neighborhood. Stansbury is a great place. We just bought our first home their in February, and my BIL just bought theirs, like the end of April/beginning of May.

I payed house payments for twenty-two years while I watched the people across the street from me in the duplexs, drive new cars. Then four years ago,we sold our house and used the equity we'd built over the years to buy a 3/4 acre lot in Lindon and I built a new home on it. Kinda made all those years of suffering without worth it. You've started a good investment. It'll just keep growing value as you live in it. ;)

We picked up the keys last night, and already my wife wants to paint

It is easier to paint now, than after you get your furniture in.

We painted almost our entire house, just 1 bedroom and 2 bathrooms to finish. after we moved in. Moving the furniture between rooms sucks.

After your done it will feel more like it us your house. We have alot of Custom painted..(froutage (sp?)) walls. Equals twice as much paint and work, but definitely turns out nicer in the end.
