It'll be indoors in a warehouse setting. No motion shots, only stills. I suggested the digital camera route right off the bat but apparently what they are planning to do won't work with a regular camera (I don't buy it, but whatever). What are you going to be using it for? (indoor, outdoor, motion, etc)
I've got a logitech webcam that takes decent indoor pictures but doesn't work if it's outside. I'm not much help in the webcam area, I've got one and it does what I need it to. If I was doing something where I needed high detail I would probably just buy a digital camera and hook it up as needed or use a memory card reader.
Thanks, that's the kind of feedback I'm looking for. What they are trying to do is setup these cameras on each of their returns stations, when they process a return they will take a picture of the condition of the item, so if there is a dispute they have documentation of the item. They are going to completely rewrite one of their apps for this. So they are wanting fairly high quality photos and being it's in a warehouse, the lighting is less than ideal.Like Spork I have a logitech webcam as well. It sits on my desk at work for night time security, but it you want to borrow it for a few days to try some photos with it you are welcome to it. Indoors and with good light the photos are ok, but not quality. At night they get pretty grainy.
