That's just what I"m looking for. A lot of the other classes are 12-24 month classes. Bummer that one is full.

I could do a once or twice a week class, and I could use it, my welds suck. For that matter, if anybody wanted to open up their garage or shop for a noob welding night, I'd be happy to toss money in a hat.

I need to weld my sliders on this week Kevin. You're welcome to swing by and learn what little I have to teach. I'm decent with a mig welder, but I'd really like to learn stick (ARC) and TIG.

ive never done tig or mig welding but im sure you will pick up stick fairly easily if I was able to pick it up. find a pipe fitter welder willing to help you out and you will have a great teacher.

Steve, the offer still stands to use my mig if you think you need a little more heat with those sliders (or just want to try with gas...)
that said, I really do miss my stick welder. There was really something different about it. Call me weird, but I love the smell of a cellulose flux rod burning....
the metal sculpting class is easy and fun, but with the welding class you are taking, im sure that it will be during the metal sculpting class. I just took it last semester and still might sign up to just to use the shop, no credit class, just buy hours, but it would be nice to use the equipment.
