I wont disclose the price I got mine for until it's sitting in front of my house but, it a was way good deal :)

Classic bubbas moment:

Bubbas: "okay we can do it for $$$ + tax".
Me: " I have $$$$ cash in my pocket and its yours. I'll be back next saturday with rest to pick it up if you do it for $$"
Bubbas " you go*^&mn jeep guys are nickle and diming me to death....okay its a deal"

Love those guys

I bought my 10,000 lb dump trailer from bubbas in springville last summer. Guy quoted me x amount for the twelve footer. I went back the next day and told him I want it. He says, damn I quoted you the price for a ten footer not a twelve! Oh well ,my bad I'll give you the twelve for that price.:D
I found out recently that bubba fired him for selling stuff cheaper than he should have. Maybe you ran into him right after he got reamed for selling me my dump trailer Bart.:ugh:

Did you take it out on the freeway? There's got to be close to 10K lbs of rigs on the trailer and probably 4-5K for the trailer. That's not an insignificant load. How did your springs/chassis/truck handle that kind of weight?

Took it down 215 from foothill to holladay and it would do 65 on the flats easy and 40-45 up the big hill by parleys without going over 3k rpm. The only thing that really sucks is the take off from and standing start. I may swap in some 4.30s pretty soon. The converter is working pretty hard with 3.73s.

The truck is rated to haul 13k(100k miles ago). According to Bubbas, The trailer is around 4300 and the rigs weigh 8000LBS so your right, its pretty freakin heavy.

The gooseneck is lightyears ahead of my old trailer as far as bob and squat goes. It actually feels pretty stable considering. If I switch back to a smaller trailer....definatley going gooseneck again.

I know its going to puke a trans though.

I've heard the 4.30 gears are the way to go with the V10

Went and checked out the new trailer today, that thing is sweet. But we did say he is probably going to switch in the gears because it is hurting quite a bit on take off
