Just got the call, we leave MAY 26th!!!! Ugh. That's coming up pretty quick LOL

3mos on a mountain plateau without leaving. This is going to be interesting. I am going to load up on DVD's and try and grab one of those Acer netbooks, apparently our internet will be pretty good. No pics, signs warning that you will be shot for taking them in most places LOL, understandably. Plan is to bust ass all day long and sleep the rest of the time. A mission!! well aaaalllright.

I'm bringing some watercolors and sketchbooks etc over with me, we'll see if I can't get some nice drawings done at least. I am looking forward to traveling, and will probably take a week on my way back to go through Germany and maybe up to Norway, depending.

So the Moab RME ride will be my last 4-wheeling for the summer.

I'm going over to build 3 6,000sq.ft. buildings on a base north of Kabul. Three months is a long time to be in the same place, I'm sure we'll figure out some way to persevere. And it's going to be @($&!!%!(* hot, but it's hot HERE too. And we'll be in the mountains.

Thanks everyone. I'm pretty stoked, it will definitely be an experience I'm not likely to have the chance to do again. I think we're flying into Qatar, too, which will be neat. I love traveling! I'm going to hit the German museums and Auschwitz, and get a bunch of unobtainable books in Norway or Sweden.
