If it were only that easy it would have already been done.
I know a land use consulting firm that could get most of the potential 5MP trails legalized for future use. The cost would be about $100,000 to start, but it would get done.

Your best bet is to donate your money to keep existing trails open, and forget about this one.
Although it has been fun posting teaser pics, I can tell you that these trails will never happen. One is pretty lame and not worth the effort to get it recognized and the other only runs one-way and will take a chinook helicopter to lift your rig out of it. Put it out of your minds.
We gave up two years ago.

What attempt to legalize it was made then?
gotta tell ya, we didn't give up on legalizing it as we never got that far. we gave up on wheeling it. its fawking impossible to get out of unless you turn around and head back down, and that sucks worse than going up. we've walked, hiked, ridden ATVs, and used horses to figure a way out of it. An exit just wasn't going to happen aside from the aforementioned helicopter evac.

Lot's of trails within 20 miles of 5MP that could be designated, if the proper resources were available. But I agree, it'll never happen, because it is not likely that such resources would ever be available. I wish our community had the resources to be proactive in protecting routes and opening new ones, but it does not.
