What are you listening to?

Dang add me to the fan club, nice find on Reignwolf.

Here you go, something smoking about a chick who can whale on a blues harp.

I have been listening to her since the earlier post about her. I keep wishing she would come here on tour.

Sorry about that, I forget what I post up half the time. Yeah I caught her in telluride back in Sept. She stomped a knot in everyone but the Black Crowes, even stole the show from festival favorite Anders Osborne. I know how you feel though I've been chasing the ghost of Sass Jordan now for darn near two decades and I always seem to be in the exact opposite point of the earth from wherever she is appearing.

I wasn't complaining. I forgot you were the one that posted it. (thanks by the way) I didnt realize the Black Crowes were back together. Do they have a new album?

I'm not normally a fan of percussion on stringed instruments, but this bass line is so cool I can get over it. :)

If you just listen to this you would think that it's Chris Cornell but it's not. Pretty rare band that I'm surprised they haven't got bigger. Has similarities of tool as well. R rated

That was their (or should I say his) only album thus far. He is also an actor so i guess he is busy with other projects as well although he said there is going to be a another album.

The whole album is pretty good. The one below is another of their radio hits at least in California.

I don't know how to post the youtube vids, they probably don't exist anyway. But what's old is new again... Been listening to old CD's, the actual CD's, playing them clear through, listening to all the songs in order. It's amazing how much difference that makes with some songs. They can't stand alone, but in the context of an album they kick ass. Like the whole side two of Never Say Die (Sabbath...).

Anyhoo... Long drive, listened to a bunch, but two oldies but goodies that stood out as complete works - Thin Lizzy, Vagabonds Of The Western World (I love the title track) and Edgar Winter, They Only Come Out at Night (it has such monster radio hits, you tend to completely forget the other good stuff on there).

Honorable mention for the weekend goes to Montrose (self titled - CLASSIC) and Motorhead, Ace of Spades (also CLASSIC and I still own my first copy, the import vinyl LP that I paid like $30 for in 1979...).
