Not actually owning a 4wd vehicle is currently my biggest issue.

Winch wiring
Lights from KC for my bumper
Turn in my class 3 paperwork to the BATF

-shorten driveshaft
-design, build, install new shock mounts for rear
-remove old, install new shock mounts for the front
-new hard brakelines on rear axle
-weld spring perches on
-build high clearance U-bolt brackets.

Other items needing attention:

To wheel the Beater I need new full hydraulic high steer arms, motor swap, and I need to move the hydraulic ram forward to match the new arms.

Christine is still needing: rear gears, rear locker, rear brakes, drive shafts, brake lines installed, motor swap, steering, and fuel system. I still want to have done: bumpers, spare tire carrier, winch mounted, exhaust, seats, and wiring.

I expect Christine will be done in May some time. The Beater maybe finished sooner. I will take the Beater with me in June if I have to but, I would much rather have Christine done for the trip in June.

I don't get back onto the trails until EJS, I spend some long nights getting the jeep ready for the annual trip.
This years list includes:
Outboard rear shocks with new brackets I made last year copying the poly performance outboard kit,
Figure out why my new auto tranny feels like a slug in first gear,
Build up my new rubicon 44 front end I bought, adding an Arab, inner c gussets, sleeves, truss etc.
High steer using wj knuckles,
Maybe bend a new cage,
Replace my brake pedal I pulled out of a Cherokee with the one I took out, brake pedal feels to far to the left for my taste,
Make a new intake, being held together with zip ties from my motor swap from last year,
Plug up miscellaneous holes in firewall that cause my feet to burn when I drive,
Tie my fenders into my grill hoop,
Build a new tire carrier,
Build some new beadlocks,
Sale my perfectly fine and new 35" MTR kevlars and replace them with a set of 37's and
Whatever else I can think of to make the month of march feel like there is not enough time to finish everything

Tires, nope, took care of that...
Front unit bearings, nope, got those (with a ton of help from a friend!!)
CPS sensor, nope, got that replaced yesterday.
Finish recovering from my back injury and surgery... Yep, thats the thing really holding me back from any trail riding right now. I might need better seats than the old ZJ has right now.

I'd need a XL7, have a few too many kids for a sidekick. Been toying with the idea of picking up a Trooper and putting a 3rd row in it.

SAMI's montero does REALLY well. I think it might even have a third row in it (double-check with him).

Was is that short? Felt more like 30 years :D The lengths we go for Aussie goodies. Its here whenever your ready :D

My FJ40 needs some minor carb tuning and my CB has some interference I'm trying to figure out. The Tacoma could use a good interior detailing, some misc little trim items and then maybe onto the auction block if/when I find a suitable replacement. The FJ45 needs the engine installed and the stocker 40 needs to get built. I'll hopefully have one or the other ready for the Relic Run so I can have a more 'stockish' vehicle out there this year.

My Dad has liked his Trooper quite a bit since he got it. Quite capable for the moderate stuff and tons of room. I might be wrong, but I think some of the overseas Troopers had third rows?
