I bough the JD2 model 3 with the harbor freight air/hydraulic ram and the copperhead fab mount and an 1-3/4 5.5" radius die. I have just over $700 in everything. I was using my buddies JD2 model 4 electric over hydraulic and it was a WORK OF ART 
but it was also over $2,000 for that set up. I've used the JD2 Model 3 with their air hydraulic kit which is around $1,500 i believe and i saw no real advantage to that over the poor boy HF ram set up. Electric/hydraulic is FAR faster and more accurate the air/hydraulic but it definately costs more. I know Bluexj on here is building a chassis very similar to Herzogs and has my bender. He said it's been working fine for him.
