Jeep what brand r&p to use?

I have a dana44 from a grand wagoneer that I need to change the gear ratio. I'm going with a eaton e-locker and just wanted to know what brand ring and pinion everyone is liking these days.

I've still had good luck with Yukon gears.

a) I think it's hard to beat Spicer gears.
b) I also think it's hard to find BAD gears. I'm sure there are some sketchy Chinese ones or something, but I can barely remember the last time I had my hands on a gearset that I'd classify as "bad".

Genui"whine" gears used to have a bad reputation but their newer gearsets "G2" seem to be alright.

We've had little problems with US standard. They are just Yukons that didn't meet the finish from my understanding.

That's what I hear too, same factory line but the "US Standard" gears just didn't meet a higher layer of QC that they use for the "Yukon" gears.

I've run several sets of US Standard and never had any trouble or noticed any extra noise FWIW.

We fought the last set of G2s that I bought and then purchased Yukons. Night and day difference on setup.

@skippy has always gotten me good pricing on Yukon gears and I've had good luck with them.

We use Yukon, Spicer and Nitro and in that order. Spicer is Prime they are just more than alot of people want to pay

I ended up buying some Yukon gears to go with the Eaton E-locker.

I have had very good results with Yukon but prefer Spicer for personal use. When I was racing I had excellent results with Richmond as well but haven't used them for quite a few years now and cannot comment on their new sets. I have heard they sold and manufacturer changed but cannot confirm that.
