What do you think of the new TJ long-arm lifts?

After looking through the newest JP magazine, and looking at the new TJ long-arm lifts. I wondered what everyone thinks about the Tera LCG, Fabtech long-arm, and Full Traction long-arm.

Sucka, you can't tell me what you think of the tera one, I already know what you think.

I like the looks of the Fabtech one, but I had a question about the Tera LCG. It states that Tera has allowed for 37's, and they did that by limiting up-travel. Now I thought that a balanced rig was one that had close to equal up and down travel? Whats up?

The Tera kit is designed to run 37's with no fender modification, and with out insane ammounts of lift (hence the term LCG- low center of gravity). If you look close at many of the competition vehicles their uptravel is severely limited, but have plenty of downtravel.

Price on all of them are a little high but if you are looking for a canned suspension I guess that is the way to go. For that much money you could have some cusotm fab shop build you a kit that would work just as good, possibly better- and probably with coil-overs.

Or at least run the 37s until your axles explod and then drop another 10k for some new high performance axles to go with your high performance suspension.

What's up with Tera's LCG demo vehicle? They threw their Tera60 rear in but kept the stock D30 up front??? Couldn't help but think that it was the most poser display vehicle I've seen.

My guess is they kept the 30 so they could showcase their new Dana 30 knuckle. The jeep is pretty cool though....I think it's in Trucktrader right now for ThirtysumpinK$'s.

Good point, Mike. Calling it a poser was harsh, I suppose, I withdraw that comment. The knuckle is kinda cool, but $$$. I was impressed with the new antiroll bar design, just might have to get one of those for the TJ.
