I had a Trail Tech kickstand on my CR and it was decent. I wouldn't use it to support the bike while you're kickstarting it or anything like that though. I also like the design much better than the style that clamps around the swing arm :-\ If you go the TT route I would Highly recommend using zip ties, tie wire, safety wire or something along those lines to keep the spring from coming off the studs. I would also order a spare spring and keep it in your pack lol. Maybe its just me but I had several instances where trail junk would snag the spring and pop it off--it wasn't loose or anything

I've heard great things about the Pro Moto as well. Only complaint I've heard is the price.

There are tons of different styles out there but my opinion is if you aren't going to spend me money for the HDB guards, then get the tusk d-flex guards.

My friend has the trail tech on his CRF450 and loves it. Will a stock WR kick stand work?

the stock wr400 kickstand won't fit. There aren't the same frame bosses on the yz frame.

As I mentioned in our PMs, my buddy's Trailtech kickstand on his WR didn't fit right. The spring was the incorrect length so he had to cut, re-bend, and re-heat treat the spring. He called trailtech about it and they told him they didn't make a WR kickstand, but instead sell the YZ kickstand as a close enough fit. As I mentioned, also in our PM, I would have expected higher quality from Trailtech for the price. With your bike being a YZ, maybe it'd fit good.

If PMB sells one for your bike, you know you'll get a quality product. They are more spendy, but they are also very nice.
