I have hook-ups if you really want to learn! ;)

This is in my 5-8 year goal...what kind of hook-ups do you have?

Edit: so as to not steal the post I will also say I want to move to Stanley Idaho and Guide Jeep tours in the Summer and Snowmobile Tours in the Winter.

Well..... let's just say I have hook-ups.... ;) (I've even *partially* flown an airplane myself) I have a good friend who got his license through said hook-ups a couple of years ago and is now working on getting his commercial license and bachelor's degree through Westminster. Do you really want details?

Back on topic.... I just remembered another thing I'd love to do-- I'd love to be in the FBI in the forensics unit! That stuff fascinates me and I LOVE adventure!

This is a hard question. I'd really like not having to work, but still make good money! Since that's not going to happen, I'll settle for... becoming an locomotive engineer for Union Pacific.

Come work with me for a week maintaining RR track, you'll never work harder. Last week we replaced 30 ties, a 'frog' which weighs about 8000lbs, a switch point and stock rail (about 3000lbs together)... all in 110*+ heat and it was the unscheduled work!

Working Union just means somone is fighting for you, I wouldn't have it any other way. ;)

Thanks for the offer, it's way cool you're part owner of a plane! I was studying aviation science a few years back, but the job market for pilots changed *alot*. Once that happend, my intrest in a job kinda fizzled.

It would be fun to get my private pilot license, but that takes time and money, plus you have to go up often to stay on top of the skills to fly. I just don't have the time for all that.

I worked with a guy at Micron, who quit to go work for the FBI. He was an Electronics Tech fixing machines at Micron. With the FBI he started working with a partner and their specality was bugging homes! They'd observe a person for a couple weeks, figure out their schedule, then once the homeowner was gone, they'd bust in & plant the bugs!

hitman. yeah I am serious.

I enjoy what I do but, wouldn't mind being a shop grunt and learn from some of the guys that build stuff I dream up.

Don't take that the wrong way. I used to work a union job and about killed myself doing it. I posted that up just razz trndrver because he is always talking about what a posh job he has.
Hense the "Thats for you Dan" comment.
