What trail would you like to run, but haven't?

My 2007 wishlist...
White Rim Trail
Beef Basin (in Canyonlands)
My remaining trail list in Moab area
Maze area exploration
Henry Mountains
Arch Canyon & Hotel Rock
Hole in the Rock (west side)
Burr Trail

i have seen hundreds of pictures of beef basin, my grandpa used to go with a group they called canyonland 4-wheelers(way back in the day) i think it was one of his favorite areas. i would like to go see beef basin and the surrounding trails.

I've wanted to run Black Bear road in Colorado ever since I was a kid singing along with CW McCall about it.

You should get down there... Elephant Hill should be a must for everyone, while its not overly difficult, the scenery and opportunity to wheel a trail of its caliber in a National Park is second to none. I would highly recommend hiking out to the confluence of the Green & Colorado Rivers while you are there, and then head south through Beef Basin

Utah: Prichett Canyon

Wyoming/Montana: Nameless (as far as I know  ) trail outside Cook city on Yellowstone border.

California: Rubicon (want to go bad who's in?)

Mexico: Baja Pinninsula

I have too many to even begin listing, even those that I don't know about yet! :D Seeing this thread makes me want to do them all!!

Rubicon: Let's go! I'm game for anytime during the week!! Weekends suck, too many people...

How difficult is Ash Creek? Maybe it can be done while we are down for the winter convention; cruise over, run it, then go back to Moab. I should be in town Tuesday evening and will be there until Monday morning...:D

I'm down for all of those.....lets actually figure out the White Rim and get that planned soon.

Beef Basin.....do NOT run in the rain. MUD MUD MUD + road tilts towards cliff = :eek2:

Burr trail is pretty scenic....you know that they have paved a bunch of it, correct?

How about Friday Feb 2nd. :D

Hopefully I'll be on my way to Moab that Friday! Your headed that way also right?

I was just reading that Ash creek may now be impassible. The huge floods awhile back, that wiped out several homes in St George … washed out the trail bad, is what it said.

That's a lot of driving, you're basically going from the east side of UT across to the west side of UT. Probably 5 hrs one way.

I love that I've done most of the trails listed here. The one trails that has eluded me so far is Surprise Canyon. If it ever gets open, I'm there.

elephant hill is one of my favorite trails, we just never get more than part of the day down there. i want to take a few days and just do it.

i think it will go something like this....

camp in moab or monticello and get up in the morning and do elephant hill the first day, staying at devils kitchen that night. on to bobbys hole/ruin park trail. then on to beef basin to blue mountain road, camping at nizhoni campground. then back to north and south elkridge trail and then cottonwood wash trail. staying another night at nizhoni campground. then off to monticello for breakfast and then home.
