Strictly for towing, 4x4 and 6 doors... Or for parking on top of H2s... http://www.f650pickups.com/page0009.html

But then, if I could afford this, I can have any other toy I wanted...

If I had the money, I'd get an 05-06 LJ Rubicon, RE long arm, 35s and call it good. I'd use it for a moderate wheeler/expedition vehicle/daily driver. Simple, proven, and realistic ;)!!

If I could have a U1200 Dokka with a 4BT Cummins swap I don't think I'd ever dream of owning another vehicle..... But that's what I told the wife last time I drug something home

i would be happy with this notice the long bed

Also notice the five mile wheelbase.
Are they building one?

Edit: Oh yeah, my guilty pleasure vehicle.
a 5.9 limited ZJ, strengthened uniframe, cage tied intot he suspension subframe and apper body structure, full width 60s, 37"s.
What I'm working on. There will be plenty of rigs out there that are better at certain things than mine will be, but I plan to have alot of fun.

The 86' Subaru Gl Wagon that I just recently aquisitioned is my guilty pleasure. Great economy, 2 speed t-case, you can sleep in the back if you go diagonal, but most importantly :my 1st car was an 86' Gl so I have very fond memories of the ol' Suby!!

The old Subarus are fun. Used to have on 84. Low range, adjustable suspension.

But for 'dream' vehicle that served no pracitcal purpose except off-road fun, would go with a Pinzguar. I think it is the 720 that is the six-wheel drive version. Completely impractical, but very high on the cool/fun factor.

If had to be a little more pracitcal, new JK unlimited, 4" lift, 35s.

'01-'03 Toyota Tacoma Quad Cab TRD SR5. 3.4 V6 and a auto, probably TRD supercharger. Mild lift, mud terrains, all the accessories I can buy from Kurt...something like this.

I would have to say (price of gasoline aside) I would use my 99 Chevy 4 door, put a 60 under it, lift it, run 37's, arb's, bumpers, winch and sliders. It would pull with the 454 and wheel moderate trails. It would be a great expedition rig, awesome hunting, camping rig and fit most of my family.

I would like:

Pre runner/DD. 2wd truck, long travel. Like a supercharged taco or something
Expedition rig: WK, 6" lift, 35's solid axle, v8 w/ offroad trailer
Buggy: TC 4 seater, v8, 60's 40's yum
Tow rig: Old school 70's burb with the swing out rear doors swapped onto a 12-24 valve CTD drivetrain
Bike: KTM Super Duke for street. Some sort of 400-600 cc enduro for dirt--but more dirt than street
Jet. leer. Maybe boeing?

OK OK. Thats just wishful thinking. I have a picture of my guilty pleasure vehicle at home. I'll post it up and prepare for the subsequent flaming.

Something like that would have enough room for family, camping gear, the dog & be comfortable on roadtrips. Plenty of power to turn the tires, get decent mileage & handle most anything offroad. Yeah... that's what I'd build. :greg: What about you?

Greg,

For a long time I wanted to build a 2dr fullsize blazer (like the Tahoe in the pic). Slap a 10bolt up front, 9.5" 14bolt in the rear, and run 37s, lockers, and the usual junk (winch, sliders, etc). Either the 350 or the 6.5td. Daily driver, weekend exploring/camping etc.

Because I tow a jeep, I bought a '99 burb. I made sure it had the rear locker and I put 33's on it. I took it wheelin'...but not as much as I planned. When I replaced it with the eXcursion, having the locker wasn't as important as good tires, but I still daydreamed about that 2-door blazer...

Then the 4dr JK Wrangler Rubicon was introduced. I'll have mine with 37's (and the usual junk). Make it Red. Or Lime Green.

Brett (may still do the blazer though...)
