What would you cover your Roll Cage with?

I am getting a custom roll cage for my RZR and am debating on what to cover it with. Not a huge fan of powder coat. Haven't had that much luck with it and when it scratches it is basically impossible to match. I was thinking super-liner. I don't like it for a bed liner because of how "sharp" it is but I think for a roll cage it might be good.

Any thoughts on any other product? And any good places to have it done?

Thanks.

so... the liner is too "sharp" for a truck bed, but it's ok to maybe smack your head on, and grab onto????

:D

I'd just paint it. Everything else is more hassle/money/time than it's worth... to me, anyway. :D

I did mine with this and I wish it was better. It scrapes off easier than I had hoped for. And when you look at it close it kind of looks rough. But it is easy to paint over and touch up.

I would go rattle can again, but would pick something different than this stuff.

Mountain West Paint on West Temple & 3300 South has a Black paint around $30.00 a gal to spray or roll on. I add a hardener and than on the last coat add clear. The stuff is easy to touch up and will stick to any surface with ease. Pain to mask off a cage from the panels but worth the end result.

Not sharp to the touch, but have you ever crawled on your bare knees on a line x covered truck bed? Kind of painful. Imagin standing on your knees on 60 grit sand paper. But superliner and rhinoliner is a lot less agressive and almost soft compaired to line x.

Thanks for all the replies.

I have been a fan of a good rattle can job in the past so that might be the ticket. Scratches are a lot less painful to deal with. I havnt used the hammerite stuff. I will have to check it out.
