What's the story behind a trail called Big Balls?

LOL, just had to set them free!

I'm getting the impression it's a closed or illegal trail. He said last time they ran it was prior to '09

It was supposed to be just past AreaBFE. I've heard it's probably a closed/illegal trail from someone that really knows the area. Sounds like it's a leftover from the good old days when travel restrictions didn't really a apply.

Illegal but getting more and more known / used

wish people would try to make it a legal trail .
