that even though its not done, i have paid for everything with cash (or debit card); no credit cards. its taking alot longer, but i'd rather wait to pay for stuff when i have the extra cash, than to not have food on the table.

edit: build time is at 18 months

The memories I've made with friends and family while wheeling and working on it. Every scratch and dent comes with a story.

Built completely by me. Knowing that all the work I've put into it and it actually works really good. I love when I get compliments on it. Oh and my new 6.0 Ls I'm in the process of swapping in:D

Next weekend it will be my first locker. Aside from that I can fix every single thing on the pile. This could also be my least favorite thing since the reason I can fix anything is because I have had to tear into every sub assembly on the vehicle to repair it in the last 14 months.

Samurai: I've owned it for 14 years. It’s been a source of great satisfaction and great frustration (like right now. Stupid thing.), but never disappointment. It's been all over the state on all sorts of trails and always gotten me home. It's something I've bonded with my dad over (along with his Samurai). I can't imagine my world without it.

Trooper: It was cheap ($700), immensely comfortable, and goes everywhere and does everything I want to do with only a 2" lift and some worn out MT/R's (thanks for those Marc!).

Favorite parts of the beater is how well it flexes and that it was built with cash money. Christine is also built with cash money but, my favorite parts are numerous. The bed floor built by Cheston. The fact that i got all of the ideas from the RME faithful.Actually, the beater was built using many ideas from RME as well. RME is responsible for both of my off road rigs. Christine is a simple machine. Nothing fancy to break, all off the shelf parts.

I guess my favorite part bar none is the help and support i get from this forum.

def heated seats and rear steer...
The heaters let me and my guests enjoy the trail in uncomfortably cold situations.
The rear steer adds a whole new dynamic to any trail.
